Green Juice Cleanse Schedule
So I am all set up for my juice cleanse tomorrow and raring to go! Great to see so many of you who want to join me. I think we are all crying out for a bit of routine and to get back to normality after our summer, it's always the way. Below is the schedule for tomorrow as I know some of you will be at work and will need to prep earlier. A lot of people asking can they use their Nutribullet instead of the juicer. I always recommend juicing over blending but if you don't have a juicer it will do for the day :) So lets get started!
Wake Up Call
Start you day with a glass of water and juice of 1/2 a lemon.Breakfast Juice
- 1 full cucumber
- 2 Stalks of celery 1
- 1/2 Lemon.
- Some Kale (or spinach)
- Small amount of ginger to your taste
Mid-morning
Coconut water – This will keep you hydrated & stave off hunger pangs (available in most health stores and supermarkets)Lunch time
Green Juice as per breakfast. You can add an apple if you are a beginner and are not staying away from fruit. More lemon is a good alternative to apples. I also stay hydrated with a nice herbal tea at this time and remember plenty of water throughout the dayMid-afternoon
Coconut water. This is when many people feel tired and sleepy. If you have hunger pangs drink more water or a herbal teas.Tea time (or should we say Juice time!)
This is your third and final juice of the day, make it the same as your previous two juices. I like to keep it simple and stick to the same juice each day.
Dinner
Melon Gazpacho
This yummy soup replenishes electrolytes and tastes delicious.
- 1 medium cantaloupe melon.
- Peel, seed, and chop melon
- Purée through your juicer.
- Serve gazpacho chilled
